Job summary

Alleyne's Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students requiring additional assistance both within and outside the classroom. The successful candidate should have experience of supporting pupils with various forms of Special Educational Needs and be caring, hard-working and committed to helping our most vulnerable students.

The post holder will support the students in the classroom, as directed by a teacher, in order to help the students achieve their full potential, including

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students requiring additional assistance both within and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate should have experience of supporting pupils with various forms of Special Educational Needs, yet be a caring, hard-working and committed individual with a genuine desire to assist our most vulnerable students. The post holder will support the students in the classroom, as directed by a teacher, in order to help the students achieve their full potential. Other duties will include assisting students with specific medical and physical needs, as well as helping them to build their confidence, selfesteem and independence.

This academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS clearance and pre-employment checks in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
