Job summary

Alleyne’s Academy on Oulton Road, Stone, Staffordshire is recruiting a Teaching Assistant (Grade 7) to support students requiring additional assistance both within and outside the classroom. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027, 32.5 hours per week during term time.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with various forms of Special Educational Needs, be caring and committed, and assist with medical/physical needs while helping students to build

TEACHING ASSISTANT – GRADE 7

32.5 hours per week - Term Time Only

Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027

Salary £27,709 - £21,1854 (FTE)

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students requiring additional assistance both within and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate should have experience of supporting pupils with various forms of Special Educational Needs, yet be a caring, hard-working and committed individual with a genuine desire to assist our most vulnerable students. The post holder will support the students in the classroom, as directed by a teacher, in order to help the students achieve their full potential. Other duties will include assisting students with specific medical and physical needs, as well as helping them to build their confidence, self-esteem and independence.

Closing date: Thursday 1st October 2026 - 9.00am
