A leading company in the Chemical Process industry is seeking an experienced Utilities Manager to oversee operations, ensure safety and quality standards, and manage team performance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a scientific or engineering discipline and a proven track record in team and budget management.

Due to the expansion of the business, an exciting role has become available for a Utilities Manager. We are a giant within the Chemical Process industry and are looking for an experienced manager to ensure we stay at the forefront of the market.

The role:
  1. Ensure that the utilities are produced and distributed in a manner that meets Safety, Quality, Cost, Environmental, and Service Requirements.
  2. Ensure access to equipment so that maintenance activities and programs are carried out proactively to improve Safety, Reliability, Quality, and Efficiency.
  3. Oversee all aspects of Utilities, shift operations, including labour resource management to ensure operational standards and key result areas are achieved.
  4. Serve as the point of contact for internal customers in case of any utility supply interruption.
The successful candidate:
  1. Degree in Scientific/Engineering discipline.
  2. Experience in managing a team, establishing clear goals and expectations.
  3. Experience managing budgets within a Utility setting.
  4. Experience formulating and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
