An established industry player is seeking a Utilities Management Officer to join their Environment and Carbon Team. This pivotal role involves auditing energy invoicing and collating utilities information to support carbon reduction targets and utility budgeting. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Utilities Management Officer based at SFRS Headquarters, Westburn Drive, Clydesmill Industrial Estate, Cambuslang G72 7NA.
This is a full time post however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday on flexible working hours between 7am – 7pm.
Applications are invited for the role of Utilities Management Officer working within the Environment and Carbon Team. This role will primarily deal with the auditing and processing of energy invoicing (electricity, gas, water and heating Fuels), collating of utilities information to assist SFRS in meeting its carbon reduction targets and utility budgeting. The post holder will be required to:
You will be educated to HNC level in building services with a sound knowledge of contracts maintenance or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
You will have good verbal and oral communication skills, be IT literate and good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
