Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller in the United Kingdom is seeking a Utilities & Effluent Plant Technician to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of our effluent plant and site services.

You will monitor equipment, perform planned maintenance, record information in the CMMS, report defects, and comply with health and safety rules. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Experience operating effluent plant or water treatment equipment.
• Boiler awareness and basic process knowledge.
• Ability to operate site services equipment and handle chemicals safely.
• Practical, hands-on approach to equipment and maintenance.
• Good IT skills and accurate information recording.

Responsibilities

Do you have hands-on experience operating effluent plant equipment, spotting potential faults and carrying out basic maintenance to keep essential site services running reliably?

We’re looking for an Utilities & EffluentPlant Technician to support the day-to-day operation and basic maintenance of our effluent plant and wider site services.

This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll monitor equipment, complete planned maintenance and inspections, identify potential issues before they develop into failures, and accurately record plant information.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days only 7am - 7pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating and carrying out basic maintenance of the effluent plant and other site services
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and inspections in line with agreed schedules.
• Monitoring machinery and identifying and reporting defects or signs of potential failure
• Recording information accurately using the CMMS system
• Working in line with company health and safety requirements
• Undertaking training to continue developing your skills

What we’re looking for:

• Effluent plant/water treatment operation experience
• Boiler awareness
• Site services operation and chemical awareness
• A practical approach to equipment and maintenance
• Good IT skills and the ability to accurately record information

It would be great if you also have:

• Previous asset care experience
