Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to drive digital transformation for utilities by promoting GeoSCADA and AVEVA software. You will combine deep industrial automation knowledge with consultative sales to deliver end-to-end solutions from data acquisition to enterprise analytics.

You will engage with utility stakeholders, design architectures, ensure cybersecurity, and collaborate with SE and AVEVA teams to deliver integrated, data-driven outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SCADA systems, AVEVA software, Historian, and enterprise integration tools.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, cybersecurity, and data architecture.
• Experience in utilities (water, wastewater, or energy) with a focus on OT/IT convergence.

Responsibilities

• Position Schneider Electric GeoSCADA as core SCADA for utilities and other applications.
• Architect digital transformation strategies leveraging AVEVA software and analytics suites.
• Engage with utility stakeholders to translate challenges into software-driven solutions.
• Deliver presentations and workshops showcasing integrated automation and data-driven insights.
• Design software architectures to integrate with AVEVA software and enable data flow across layers.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance in solution design.
• Collaborate with Schneider Electric sales teams, AVEVA specialists, and system integrators.
• Understand devices used in telemetry architectures.
• Deliver customer presentations on digital transformation challenges.
• Support bid management and proposal development with technical input.
• Promote predictive analytics and asset-performance initiatives.
