Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting a Used Van Sales Executive for a leading used van retailer in the UK. The role focuses on selling used vans with a blend of phone/email outreach and in-person showroom activity, aiming to grow sales and customer base.

You will work with finance, insurance, and service additions while maintaining excellent stock knowledge and strong customer relationships. The role requires a valid UK driving licence and willingness to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive vehicle sales experience is essential.
• IT literacy and familiarity with dealership systems.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Chipping Sodbury.
• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to customer service and sales.
• Confident negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in van or commercial vehicle sales is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sell used vans and provide finance, insurance, and additional services.
• Conduct majority of sales via telephone and email channels.
• Keep customers informed about vehicle delivery progress and delays.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and efficiently.
• Collect payments and finalise sales.
• Explain warranties and service plans and vehicle features.
• Build strong, lasting customer relationships to exceed sales targets.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle stock and company processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies throughout the sales process.
