Job description

LSH Auto is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Used Car Sales Manager to join our flagship dealership in Stockport. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our used car operations, responsible for maximising sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your leadership will play a crucial part in guiding a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed their targets while maintaining the highest level of service.

The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of the automotive market and used car sales processes to create effective strategies, ensure optimal inventory management, and promote a positive and competitive sales environment.

Hours - 40

Competitive salary plus OTE Bonus plus a Company Car.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Significant experience in used car sales, with a demonstrated background in a managerial role.
  • A solid track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in training and developing a sales team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the used car market, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating positive customer experiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset for evaluating sales data and market trends.
  • A valid UK driving licence is required.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and implementing effective sales strategies to boost used car sales.
  • Overseeing inventory management to ensure a well-stocked and diverse vehicle selection.
  • Leading the sales team, providing coaching and support to enhance performance.
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service are met, resolving any customer issues that arise.
  • Conducting performance reviews and sales training sessions regularly.
