Job summary
Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Used Car Sales Executive for their Ford Basingstoke location on a fixed-term contract. You will guide customers from initial welcome through negotiation to handing over their vehicle, while actively prospecting for new customers and maintaining a detailed enquiry database.
You’ll build product knowledge through manufacturer-led training, recommend add-ons, and use CRM systems to track follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role with targets.
- Ability to deliver first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm.
- Genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success.
- Strong organisational skills with deadlines and attention to detail.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, focused on customer needs.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through a seamless journey, from welcome to handover of their purchased vehicle.
- Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend product launches and events, and maintain a comprehensive enquiry database.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and attend manufacturer-led training sessions.
- Recommend suitable add-on products aligned with customer needs.
- Ensure effective use of customer enquiry management systems for tracking and follow-up.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and referrals.
