Job summary

Ips Group in London is seeking an Assistant Underwriter, Property D&F, to support high-volume US Property business and help drive profitable growth.

You will build broker and client relationships, handle submissions, renewals and referrals within authority, attend broker and client meetings, and contribute to planning and reporting while adhering to underwriting guidelines and processes.

We are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join a specialist City insurance outfit supporting predominantly high-volume US Property business. You will help to drive profitable growth, provide responsive broker service and develop strong market relationships.

This key role will involve:

• Supporting new business, renewals, quotations and referrals within agreed authority.
• Building broker and client relationships and deliver prompt, high-quality service.
• Attending broker and client meetings and presentations.
• Assisting with business planning, new opportunities and class-performance reporting.
• Working with other divisions to ensure consistent processes and completion of required documentation.

The successful candidate will bring a good foundational knowledge of property experience, Cert CII and strong numerical and organisational skills.
