Job summary

Ips Group in London is seeking an Assistant Underwriter, Property D&F, to support high-volume US Property business and help drive profitable growth.

You will build broker and client relationships, handle submissions, renewals and referrals within authority, attend broker and client meetings, and contribute to planning and reporting while adhering to underwriting guidelines and processes.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of property underwriting.
• Strong numerical and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting US Property business is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support new business, renewals, quotations and referrals within authority.
• Build broker and client relationships and deliver prompt, high-quality service.
• Attend broker and client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with business planning, new opportunities and class-performance reporting.
• Work with other divisions to ensure consistent processes and completion of required documentation.
• Follow underwriting guidelines, reporting requirements and peer-review procedures.
