Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above.
• NVQ Level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
• Experience in clerical roles.
• Healthcare environment experience.
• Knowledge of the Hospital EPR system.

Responsibilities

• Support the Medical Secretarial Team in delivering a comprehensive administrative service.
• Outline new and efficient processes and inpatient/outpatient waiting list management for the urology specialty.
• Communicate appointments and admission information to patients and carers; answer queries verbally and in writing.
• Type correspondence within performance targets and NHS requirements.
• Support delivery of local and national NHS targets and assist with clinic management and utilisation in your area.
