Join the NHS as a UTC Administrator at St Mary's Hospital, responsible for patient support and administrative tasks. This role offers a chance to develop skills through training, with flexible shifts and opportunities for career growth in a supportive environment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of administrators in St Mary's Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre(UCT), providing support to patients, clinicians, nurses, and managers.
As a UTC administrator you will be the first port of contact for patients calling and coming into the department both at the front door and for patients arriving via 111 or London Ambulance. You will answer their queries and help solve any issues they may have encountered. You will work alongside the clinicians, nurses, management team and other administrative staff to provide a safe and efficient service to our patients.
The post also involves creating close working relationships with services outside of the Urgent Treatment Centre, such as the London Ambulance Service paramedics, the Information and Communications Technology department (ICT), and staff from the A&E & Same Day Emergency Centre (SDEC).
You will have the chance to develop your administrative skills on our award-winning in-house courses and through a programme of structured appraisals, support and development.
Please note the following shifts available- successful applicants will need to be available for a minimum of 15 hours (2 shifts)- shifts can be a combination of early's/lates & nights.
