Job summary

EPUT is hiring a Band 7 Mental Health professional to work within a fast-paced urgent community care pathway in West Essex, across Harlow and surrounding areas. You will provide crisis assessment, triage and collaborative care planning in the community, working with Ambulance Paramedic clinicians to support patients in crisis.

The role requires registration in Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work, plus a commitment to postgraduate qualification.

Qualifications

• Registration (Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker)
• Post graduate qualification or commitment to work towards this

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, evidence-based holistic assessments and care to patients in line with professional Code of Conduct and Trust policies.
• Work within a fast paced urgent community care pathway to provide urgent and crisis response in the community.
• Conduct initial assessments, formulate need, develop collaborative care plans under NICE guidance.
• Supervise junior staff within the team locality as required by manager.
