Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly skilled Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner (Band 7) to cover the Braintree and Maldon locality in Essex. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term role is based in GP practices and involves triage, assessment, treatment and follow‑up for common mental health disorders.

Qualifications

• RMN registration with NHS professional body.
• Non Medical Prescriber certification.
• Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsabilités

• Provide triage, assessment, treatment and follow-up for common mental health conditions.
• Act as gatekeeper for referrals to secondary services and advocate for timely pathways.
• Collaborate with GPs, Primary Care teams, Consultants and CMHTs to support recovery.
• Deliver NICE-aligned psychological and non‑psychological interventions.
• Signpost to internal/external services and coordinate care pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and support governance and safety.
