HCA UK in Birmingham’s Harborne Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Urgent Care Centre. You will support the day-to-day running of the department and deliver high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced setting, acting as a role model for junior colleagues.

The role requires current NMC registration and recent experience in urgent care or acute settings, with strong assessment, triage and clinical decision-making skills.

• Recent experience in an Urgent Care Centre, Acute Assessment Unit, Emergency Department or similar acute setting.
• Post-registration experience caring for patients with acute conditions.

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Urgent Care Centre at The Harborne Hospital.

The Harborne Hospital is our state-of-the-art private hospital in Birmingham, bringing together leading consultants, innovative medical technologies and modern facilities to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a Senior Staff Nurse , you’ll support the day-to-day running of the department whilst delivering exceptional clinical care. You’ll act as a role model for the wider nursing team, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued development of services.

As part of the Outpatients department, the Urgent Care Centre consists of three consultation and treatment rooms, providing same-day assessment and treatment for patients requiring urgent attention. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and ensuring a safe, efficient and seamless experience.

What you’ll bring:

• Current NMC registration
• Recent experience working within an Urgent Care Centre, Acute Assessment Unit, Emergency Department or similar acute setting
• Post-registration experience caring for patients presenting with a range of acute conditions
• Experience in patient assessment, triage and clinical decision-making
