Urgent Care Salaried GP | Ashford, Kent
This is a genuinely different kind of Salaried GP role. A blended position combining Urgent Treatment Centre sessions with Enhanced Access and routine clinical work, built around a practice that has deliberately stripped GP admin back to the essentials. There is no traditional duty doctor list here. Instead, dedicated Clinical Support sessions mean you are never carrying a full list on top of covering the wider team.
The practice is based in Ashford, Kent, a well-connected market town with excellent transport links, including a high-speed rail service to London St Pancras in around 38 minutes. Canterbury is around 30 minutes away by car, and Maidstone around 35 minutes, making the role accessible from across east Kent.
GP Training Practice, with GP registrars currently in post and a structured mentor programme supporting clinicians in their first five years of general practice Rated Outstanding overall by the CQC, with the Responsive and Well-led domains also rated Outstanding
