Job summary

Menlo Park Adult Social Care in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a Salaried GP to blend Urgent Treatment Centre sessions with Enhanced Access and routine clinical work, in a practice that has stripped GP admin back to the essentials.

There is no traditional duty doctor list; clinical support sessions reduce workload, with strong governance, a review-friendly environment, and NHS pension. The role offers six contact sessions weekly and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered GP.
• No traditional duty doctor list; clinical support sessions reduce admin.
• Outstanding CQC rating of the practice (contextual).

Responsibilities

• 6 sessions per week, blending UTC sessions with Enhanced Access and routine Clinical Support at the practice.
• UTC sessions are treat-and-complete, with no attached admin.
• Total triage model with a pooled list, so there is no personal list to manage.
• Enhanced Access sessions on Saturdays, with dates agreed in advance.
• Clinical Support days involve short blocks supporting other clinicians, including wound reviews, second opinions for paramedics, signing off ECGs and supporting GP registrars.
