Job summary

IC24, the Integrated Urgent Care division, is recruiting Care Co-Ordinators to support NHS 111, CAS and Out of Hours services. You will own an allocated service area, manage queues, coordinate resources and assist frontline colleagues to deliver safe, timely patient care.

The role operates in a 24/7 environment; you will monitor service flow, note risks, escalate issues and work with clinical staff to maintain performance. We value flexible, proactive colleagues who can adapt to changing demands.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an allocated service area (NHS 111, CAS or Out of Hours) and manage queues.
• Coordinate resource deployment and support frontline colleagues to deliver timely patient care.
• Monitor service flow and performance, escalating concerns when required.
• Identify staffing gaps and changing demand with operational leaders to ensure coverage.
