Sirona care & health in England’s Southwest region is seeking a Band 7 Urgent Care Practitioner to join the South Bristol Urgent Treatment Centre team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, manage urgent presentations, and coordinate referrals, while supporting junior team members and contributing to service improvement.

Qualifications

• Provision of patient centred care with appropriate referrals.
• Conduct a range of consultation types including face to face, telephone and video.
• Use advanced clinical examination skills to support diagnostic reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously provide patient centred care, including assessment, shared care planning and referral.
• Undertake a variety of consultation types including face to face, telephone and video.
• Utilise advanced clinical examination skills to support diagnostic reasoning and patient centred care plans.
• Utilise Patient Group Directions or Independent Prescribing (desirable) to manage presentations.
• Undertake shift leadership to ensure smooth department operations and safety.
• Support unit safety by prioritising presenting patients.
