The post offers substantive and flexible hours, including weekends, with paid indemnity and CPD opportunities. The role requires full GMC registration, licence to practise, and experience in urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Make appropriate clinical decisions on presenting problems within competence, seeking advice from a mentor or senior colleagues when required.
• Assess health needs of patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions under supervision when necessary.
• Provide screening, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care in line with current protocols.
• Develop individualised care plans in consultation with patients, aligned with best practice.
• Maintain clear, accurate, contemporaneous medical records.
• Undertake duties expected of a GP in primary care and ensure safe prescribing and resource use.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities, audits, and learning from events.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams and support medical education and CPD.
