Job summary

Principal Medical Limited seeks experienced General Practitioners to join its Urgent Treatment Centre on a substantive basis with Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours, plus bank opportunities. The UTC aims to deliver timely, high-quality care with minimal paperwork and strong team support.

Open 9am–9pm, 365 days a year, the UTC handles a diverse case mix and emphasizes work-life balance, professional development, and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• GMC registered GP with licence to practise and up-to-date practising credentials.
• Experience in managing acute and urgent cases within a UTC or ED setting.
• Comfortable working in a team, with a patient-centred care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses in UTC.
• Document consultations and manage referrals as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with MDT.
