Job summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting for 1 x Community Care Supervisor (Permanent). The role will deliver a high-quality duty team for vulnerable people in Dudley, working 37 hours per week on a flexible rota, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays with enhancements.

Applicants should have care setting experience and an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it. The post involves travel across the Dudley borough and may require a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a care setting.
• Supervision/management experience preferred.
• Willing to work towards NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, triage and signpost Urgent Care calls/referrals to enable Dudley residents to be supported at home.
• Support a community Urgent Care Team and STAR team with person-centred care.
• Provide supervision and support to duty team staff and community care staff.
