Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks a part-time Healthcare Assistant for a 17-hour post in the St Austell Community Hospital OPD/MIU. You will support clinicians, perform clinical tasks and help with triage in a busy urgent care setting.

Formación

• GCSE Maths & English or equivalent qualification/experience.
• NVQ 3 Direct Care.
• Previous experience as a HCA within a hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Support MIU and OPD practitioners in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
• Undertake a range of clinical duties including wound care, plaster application and removal, and patient observations.
• Register and book patients into the department with accurate documentation.
• Provide high standard of patient care and attend to general needs during visits.
• Deliver safe care under supervision of MIU/OPD clinicians.
• Provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach at all times.
