Job summary

Waterside Primary Care Network's Urgent Care Centre is expanding its clinical team. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will perform advanced-level assessments, set clinical standards, and liaise with across-network practices to ensure flexible daily coverage.

The role requires a postgrad qualification in advanced practice, nurse prescribing, and triage qualifications, with a minimum two years' experience in urgent care and strong clinical governance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate diploma or degree in advanced practice is required.
• Qualified nurse prescriber is required.
• Qualified triage nurse is required.
• Registered nurse with current licence is required.
• Minimum two years' urgent and unscheduled care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced-level clinical assessment and care in the Urgent Care Centre.
• Lead by example in clinical practice and support colleagues in the department.
• Use the range of available diagnostics to aid clinical examination.
