Job summary

The Arts Club is seeking a Casual Bartender to ensure smooth bar operations during shifts, maintaining professionalism, stock levels, and guest satisfaction. You will be knowledgeable about the drinks menu and work with a team to provide an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities include leading by example, taking orders promptly, handling transactions accurately, and coordinating with other departments to deliver a seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell drinks and provide detailed menu knowledge.
• Accurate cash handling and POS operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready for service.
• Know the full drinks menu and assist Members and Guests confidently.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as directed by the Head Bartender.
• Take orders promptly, accurately, and with professional service.
• Upsell to enhance guest experience while maintaining service quality.
• Process transactions and ensure correct billing per club procedures.
• Maintain discretion with guest information and billing details.
• Communicate guest preferences and occasions to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with Reception and other departments to ensure seamless service.
