Job summary

Eaton is seeking UPS Commissioning Engineers to join our UK team in the South East region, delivering commissioning of large UPS systems, site acceptance testing and remote monitoring configuration to ensure peak performance and reliability.

Candidates should be based in the South of the UK and hold an HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with hands-on experience of three-phase installations and UPS technology.

Qualifications

• Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Three phase electrical installation or maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with large UPS systems and commissioning, site testing and power quality meters; battery knowledge (VRLA and Lithium Ion).
• Experience with remote monitoring software and understanding of Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of large UPS systems and site acceptance testing.
• Set up and configure remote monitoring software.
• Communicate with key stakeholders on a technical level.
• Adhere to safety standards and ECN approval processes.
