Job summary

Stockport Nub News is featuring a Teaching Assistant role to support pupils in Upper KS2 with SEND responsibilities at a Stockport primary school. This long-term, full-time position starts ASAP and offers daily pay of £95 via PAYE.

The ideal candidate has KS2 experience and SEND background, with strong behaviour management and the ability to work well both independently and within a team, supporting pupil progress.

Qualifications

• KS2 experience is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is essential.
• Confident supporting learning independently and in a team.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-time, long-term position starting ASAP.
• Supporting pupils across Upper KS2
• Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND
• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions where required
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
• Helping to promote positive behaviour, engagement and learning
