Job summary

Exclusive Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with KS3 and KS4 students in a Stockport secondary school. The role is full-time, starting ASAP, with a daily rate on offer and a strong emphasis on safeguarding and support.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with children and young people, including those with challenging behaviour, and hold an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for one. A commitment to quality education and 24/7 consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or UK resident status
• Previous experience with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Responsibilities

• Support KS3 and KS4 students in a secondary school in Stockport
• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Support pupils with challenging behaviour to maintain focus
• Provide feedback to tutors and assist with safeguarding commitments
