Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Stockport is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly one-form entry primary school in Stockport. This is a long-term, full-time position starting ASAP, supporting pupils across Upper KS2 with additional SEND responsibilities. Pay: £95 per day PAYE.

The ideal candidate will have KS2 experience and SEND experience, with strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• KS2 teaching assistant with SEND responsibilities.
• Ability to support learning across Upper KS2 and implement targeted interventions.
• Reliable, proactive and committed to pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Full-time long-term position starting ASAP.
• Support pupils across Upper KS2.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions as required.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team.
• Help promote positive behaviour, engagement and learning.
