Job summary

Edvance Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils with SEND at a friendly Gerrards Cross school. You will work 8.00am–4.30pm, contribute to a nurturing learning environment and assist with strategies to help SEND students access the curriculum.

The role starts 3 September 2026 for at least one term, with the potential to continue for the full academic year. A DBS update service is desired, and the school values patient, caring communicators.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally within a primary setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A caring, patient and positive approach.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

Pay: £115–£120 per day

A very good, oversubscribed primary school in a lovely leafy setting in the Gerrards Cross area is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support KS2 children with SEND needs.
