Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in the Stockport area from September 2026. This is a full-time role with a strong emphasis on Upper KS2; you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils prepare for secondary school.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Upper KS2, a secure understanding of KS2 English and Maths, and be reliable,

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting pupils in Upper KS2.
• Secure understanding of KS2 curriculum, particularly English and Maths.
• Confident planning and delivering small group interventions to raise attainment.
• Able to support pupils of varying abilities, including those requiring additional support.
• Reliable, motivated and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.

Responsibilities
