Job summary

Desian Education is partnering with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Winsford to recruit an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

The successful candidate will lead targeted interventions, support pupils with learning and behavioural needs, and work with class teachers to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality 1:1 and small-group interventions across Key Stage 2.
• Planning and delivering targeted Maths and English interventions to accelerate pupil progress.
• Monitoring, recording and evaluating the impact of interventions, providing regular feedback to teachers and senior leaders.
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs through positive behaviour strategies and personalised support plans.
• Working collaboratively with class teachers to adapt learning and promote pupil engagement.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, helping them develop confidence, resilience and independence.
• Contributing to an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported to succeed.
