Job summary

DFS Furniture PLC is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to craft our high-quality furniture, from frame preparation to final upholstery. You will work in a collaborative team, upholding our craftsmanship standards in a safe, efficient workspace.

You will handle frames, fabrics and leathers, operate hand tools, and contribute to a fast-paced piece-work environment while maintaining quality and delivering to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience upholstering furniture to a high standard.
• Hands-on experience with power tools.
• Able to work in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Logical problem solver.
• Organised and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality upholstered products to specification.
• Prepare frames and upholstery components.
• Work with fabrics and leathers using range of materials.
• Operate staple guns and hand tools safely.
• Contribute to team-oriented piece-work production.
• Maintain clean and safe workspace.
• Support other manufacturing areas as needed.
