Tanglewood Games is seeking an Unreal Engine Engineer to join our team of experts. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Unreal Engine work across core tech, rendering, gameplay, tools, and physics while collaborating with client studios and colleagues.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ skills and deep knowledge of the Unreal Engine ecosystem, with experience in game development and source control (Perforce). Remote UK options are available alongside base roles in Hartlepool.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional experience in game development using Unreal Engine.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the Unreal Engine ecosystem and components.
• Familiarity with source control systems, especially Perforce.
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute across Unreal Engine areas such as core tech, rendering, gameplay, animation, tools and physics.
• Collaborate with client studios and internal teams to share knowledge and deliver high-quality work.
