Job summary

Circle Group in Glasgow is seeking a Lead Unreal Engine Developer to shape and lead our client’s real-time visualisation capability. You will set the technical direction for interactive visualisation, digital twins, VR and immersive experiences, while driving innovation, scalable delivery and team development.

You’ll provide hands‑on leadership across design, development and project teams, mentoring and growing the organisation’s real-time capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 3D visualisation.
• Advanced Blueprint and Unreal Engine development experience (UE5 preferred).
• Strong understanding of Unreal architecture and working knowledge of C++.
• Experience building scalable frameworks and reusable systems.
• Strong knowledge of optimisation, debugging and performance.
• Experience delivering VR, immersive and interactive visualisation.
• Experience leading technical teams and developing capability.
• Knowledge of digital twins and data-driven visualisation.
• Strong communication, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience supporting project estimation and business development.
• A passion for emerging technologies and innovation.

Lead Unreal Engine Developer

We're looking for a lead Unreal Engine developer to shape and lead our client's real-time visualisation capability, combining strong Unreal Engine expertise with strategic technical leadership.

You’ll set the technical direction for interactive visualisation, digital twins, VR and immersive experiences, while driving innovation, scalable delivery and team development.

You’ll work across design, development and project teams, providing hands‑on technical leadership and helping grow the organisation’s real‑time capabilities.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience of 3D visualisation
• Advanced Blueprint and Unreal Engine development experience (UE5 preffered)
• Strong understanding of Unreal architecture and working knowledge of C++.
