Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Unqualified Primary/Secondary Teacher to cover across subjects in local schools within Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time role involves delivering pre-prepared lessons, taking registers and supporting safeguarding in a school setting.

A valid Enhanced DBS (Update Service) and registration with the EWC are required. Competitive daily pay (£120) and access to free online CPD are provided, along with dedicated consultant support and flexible long-term

Unqualified Primary / Secondary Teacher - Full Time

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf

Pay: £120 per day

Are you confident in the classroom and passionate about supporting students? We're working with local schools in the RCT that are looking for a Cover Supervisor to help support their school.

Role Overview: What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across various subjects
• Supporting the learning environment while maintaining behaviour and focus
• Taking registers and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
• Adapting quickly to the needs of different classrooms

• Have a good understanding of core subjects and the UK curriculum
• Are confident, adaptable, and resilient
• Possess strong classroom management skills
• Value clear communication and student wellbeing
• Are reliable and enthusiastic about working in education

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Two professional references covering the past two years
