Unqualified Teacher - Secondary School - Northampton

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time Permanent

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

This role would be well suited to graduates, Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, tutors, sports coaches, youth workers, mentors, or aspiring teachers who are keen to build their classroom experience and take the next step towards a career in education.

You will work closely with experienced teaching staff and school leaders, gaining practical experience of classroom delivery, behaviour management, and supporting student progress. The school is committed to helping aspiring educators develop their skills and confidence in preparation for future teacher training.

The position would be particularly suitable for candidates considering a PGCE, SCITT, School Direct, or other teacher training route, providing an excellent foundation for progression into qualified teaching.

The Role
