Milk Education are currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Denton, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, and are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and committed Unqualified Teacher to join their staff on a full-time basis.
You will support pupils across a range of lessons, helping them stay engaged and on task, while contributing to a positive classroom environment and maintaining high behaviour expectations in a supportive specialist setting.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, tutors, or individuals with previous experience working with children and young people who are looking to develop their classroom experience within a supportive specialist education environment.
The Pupil Referral Unit provides a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils aged 11-16 who may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and may have experienced barriers to accessing mainstream education. Experience working with children and young people with mental health needs, behavioural needs, SEND or additional needs would be highly desirable.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will support pupils across a range of lessons, ensuring they remain engaged, focused and on task with the work provided. You will help create a positive classroom environment, maintain high expectations of behaviour and support pupils to achieve their learning objectives.
You will work across different subject areas and year groups, gaining valuable experience within a welcoming and supportive Pupil Referral Unit setting.
