Unqualified Teacher – Birmingham | Elevate Supply

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £90 per day

Elevate Supply is supporting a secondary school in Birmingham to recruit an Unqualified Teacher to join them on a supply basis. This is an ideal role for a graduate with strong communication skills and a keen interest in education who’s looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before pursuing QTS.

You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, helping to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the class teacher
• Keep students on task and support them with their learning
• Manage classroom behaviour professionally and calmly
• Offer basic support with classwork and provide feedback to staff
• Contribute to the smooth running of the school day-to-day
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in any subject
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication skills and a confident presence in the classroom
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
