If you have a passion for educating, are innovative, and committed to raising standards, then you could be the ideal candidate to be a Cover Supervisor.

We are currently working with secondary schools across the Shropshire area. We offer daily, short-term, and long-term work opportunities with them, providing regular work and excellent pay rates for Cover Supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and support students in their learning, following the school's policies and curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain discipline and manage behavior, fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity in students' education and support their progress.
• Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of students at all times, following school policies and procedures.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
• Resilience and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
