At Woodside, we specialise in educating young people with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team and work in our school with exceptional students and staff.
Your New Role:
We are seeking an unqualified teacher of SEN to deliver PE at our outdoor setting for students aged 11-19. The role is based in Leicestershire, near Loughborough, on a full-time, permanent basis.
We want someone passionate about helping develop children according to their academic and pastoral plans. The successful candidate will deliver small group sessions in a setting designed to foster a homely, nurturing environment, where building trusting relationships and providing emotional security are key.
Outdoor learning is central to our approach. The candidate must advocate for outdoor education, incorporating it into lessons and supporting students in processing information related to autism.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions is required.
