Job summary

MathWorks seeks a Customer Success Engineer to partner with universities, understanding their challenges and showcasing how MathWorks can support education and research. You will articulate the value of MATLAB and Simulink to grow adoption in curriculum, research, and projects within academia.

You will travel to campuses, deliver demonstrations, create engagement plans, and advocate computational thinking. The role embraces a hybrid work model balancing office and home time.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language skills required (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with MATLAB & Simulink is required or proven.
• Master's or PhD in Applied Science or Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Territory Planning and Strategy: conduct data-driven account assessments and develop Technical Engagement Plans to increase adoption of MathWorks’ products in universities.
• Execute Technical Engagement Plans: travel to universities, deliver presentations and demonstrations.
• Champion computational thinking and incorporate computational literacy into curriculum.
• Identify research groups that can benefit from MathWorks’ solutions and engage with them.
