We are recruiting for a Student Services Administrator to join a busy and supportive Student Services team within a leading Higher Education environment in Manchester.
As a Student Services Administrator, you will be part of the Student Services Operations Team and will support one of the following specialist areas: Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing Inclusion and Disability Pastoral Support Services You will act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are managed professionally, efficiently, and with empathy.
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via email, telephone, and in person.
Manage incoming queries and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Provide high-quality administrative support across a range of student support services.
Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems and databases.
Develop a strong understanding of administrative processes within your assigned service area.
Support other Student Services teams as required to ensure a seamless student experience.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Deliver an accessible, professional, and student-centred administration service.
Previous experience in an administrative or customer-focused role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
A professional, approachable, and empathetic manner.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience within Higher Education, Student Services, healthcare, wellbeing, or support services environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
