Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust seeks a Band 7 Unit Manager for the MY Surgical Hub at Dewsbury District Hospital. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver a high-quality elective surgical service, focused on safe, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive clinical leadership experience, a nursing or ODP background, and a teaching qualification. This permanent post offers a 37.5-hour week with a 5-day pattern and opportunities to

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Surgical Hub unit within Dewsbury to deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care
• Oversee 5-day working week and Band 7 supervisory duties, including bleep rota coverage
• Collaborate with MDTs and supporting teams to drive service development and GIRFT accreditation readiness
• Embed Trust values and promote a positive, inclusive culture across the unit
• Engage in divisional meetings and strategic priorities to improve access, quality and sustainability
