Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Ward Manager to lead the Day Case Surgical and Elective Post-operative units based on E4 and F6 wards. You will shape service delivery, patient flow and discharge planning in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will drive safe, compassionate, patient-centred care, supervise a multidisciplinary team and work with stakeholders to improve quality and timely recovery for surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in acute surgical or emergency care settings.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and empower teams.
• Excellent organisational skills for patient flow and service delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the surgical care unit (Day Case and Elective Post-Op)
• Oversee patient flow, admission prep, post-op monitoring and discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe recovery and timely discharge
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and continuous service development
