Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust seeks an experienced Unit Manager (Band 7) for the MY Surgical Hub in Dewsbury. You will drive leadership, develop services, and ensure delivery of high-quality elective surgical care through a strong multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires surgical leadership experience, commitment to service development, and active involvement in GIRFT accreditation activities while supporting a 5-day week pattern across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical leadership or unit management is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the MY Surgical Hub with a focus on safety and quality.
• Manage Band 7 Surgical Bleep rota and participate in divisional meetings.
• Collaborate with MDT and wider clinical teams to deliver elective surgical services.
