Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, experienced Unit Manager - Clinical for Abbey Court Care Home in Heath Hayes, Cannock, to lead nursing staff and ensure high quality care for residents.

The role requires an active NMC PIN, NVQ 3 in care homes, and at least two years’ experience in a care home, with strong communication and leadership abilities. You will support home management, oversee medication systems, and contribute to creating meaningful lives for residents.

Qualifications

• Active NMC PIN required.

• At least two years' experience in a care home environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers with demonstrations and instruction of care activities.
• Enhance residents' quality of life through effective care planning.
• Manage and participate in the rota to ensure senior care and care support coverage.
• Support Deputy Manager and Clinical Managers in managing medication systems and distributions.
