Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking an enthusiastic Unit Manager - Clinical for Abbey Court Care Home in Heath Hayes, Cannock. You will lead a team of nurses and carers to deliver high-quality care with safety, compassion and inclusion for residents, visitors and staff.

You will support the care home management team, manage the rota, oversee medication systems, and ensure effective care planning while demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Active NMC PIN required.
• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care homes.
• At least two years' experience in a care home.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nurses and carers to provide staff support and demonstrate care activities.
• Enhance residents' quality of life through effective care planning.
• Manage rota to ensure senior care and support coverage.
• Support medication systems and distribution of prescribed medications.
