Travelers is seeking candidates for its Insurance Professional Development Program in the United Kingdom. The role offers a structured apprenticeship with mentorship and on-the-job training in underwriting.

Travelers Europe supports a hybrid work arrangement: three days in the office and two days at home, with potential adjustments for part-time schedules. This is a full-time program designed to build skills across New Business, Renewals and risk assessment.

• Must be able to take initiative and learn the insurance industry, product lines, and internal platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with clear listening ability.
• Analytical thinking to interpret data, identify trends and support underwriting decisions.

• Ability to synthesize information and present exhibits, results and observations to a manager and team.
• Comfort with learning new technology and using it efficiently across systems.

Responsabilidades

• Triage, process and input New Business, Renewals and mid-term adjustments on relevant IT systems.
• Enter quotes, risks and endorsements accurately for proper reporting.
• Ensure timely entry of risks into systems and liaise with Shared Services.
• Review aggregation data and respond to queries with accurate entry.
• Obtain information for local policies by liaising with local team and underwriters.
• Support Underwriters by handling queries and preparing renewal documentation for brokers.
• Assist with pricing and classifying risks according to guidelines and ratings.
• Coordinate with Risk Control, Claims, Marketing, Distribution, Financial and Actuarial departments as required.
• Assist Operations or Credit Control with overdue premium, tax queries or aged debt.
• Prepare loss reports for Brokers and conduct research for Senior Underwriters.
• Work with colleagues across Underwriting and business support functions to deliver results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
